Meta Tags
HTML tags that provide information about a web page to search engines and browsers.
What is Meta Tags?
Meta tags are placed in the <head> section of your HTML and aren't visible to users. They include the title tag (shown in search results), meta description (summary in search results), and others. Properly optimized meta tags improve click-through rates from search results.
Example
The meta description tag might contain: 'Learn how to bake sourdough bread with our step-by-step guide. Perfect for beginners.'
